TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

 

In researching the anatomy and dynamics of the human hand, we accounted for circulation, skeletal structure and movement. Our mission is to prevent bone fractures as well as abrasion damage to the entire hand. Patterns and performance materials are each meticulously researched and chosen for a specific function. Whether it’s for protection, dexterity or comfort, they are all brought together for the best performing product on the market.

Our unique compression patterns on the fingers and palm is especially designed to allow for a more "fitted" feel that enhances comfort, circulation and decreases fatigue.  Our Resistor glove’s form-fitting ergonomics and decreased tolerances in the fingers enhances dexterity and functionality making it ideal for many weather conditions. 

The seamless wrap around fingertips means no extra fabric to blow out or snag during trigger operations.  As an added feature, the thumb and index fingers include conductive textile that allows for touchscreen operation. Summer or Winter weather, No other glove combines this many features into one low-profile, form-fitting product.

IMPACT PALM BRIDGE

  • Only glove designed to provide median and scaphoid impact protection similar to those required for top of hand at the CE 2 Level
  • Contoured to enable a slide upon impact and to decentralize impact forces
  • Most accidents are palm landings, very few involve top of hand strikes, you need top and bottom protection
  • Designed with break-away features in case of catching or snag during an accident
  • During our R&D phase, we experimented with various materials and thicknesses including carbon fiber (cannot be molded into our complex shapes) and metals (too rigid thus transferring all the impact forces) before finally reaching the  "sweet spot" of impact attenuation with our unique composite blend

UNOBSTRUCTED CAPACITIVE FINGERTIPS

  • Absence of seams in the fingertips protects against stitch rupture or “blowouts”
  • Abrasion protection extends up through to the fingertips
  • Lack of raw edges decreases spacing in the fingertips improving tactile feel & feedback
  • Specially treated capacitive material allows for touchscreen operation

 

LOW PROFILE TEXTURED UPPER PALM

  • Provides tactility and comfort without sacrificing grip or feel

 STANDARDS COMPLIANCES (pending)*

BS EN 13594: 2015 Level II

  • Where possible the standard draws on established tests such as those in EN 388 but in addition includes several particular tests to measure properties such as abrasion resistance following an impact and where applicable, the force transmitted through the gloves protective padding.
  • The impact abrasion test is relevant to incidents when the rider falls from the motorcycle and slides along the road or riding surface. It was developed following studies of real accidents.
